Lance Armstrong has won seven tours at Tour De France, but has now been stripped of his glorious title. Earlier this morning, U.S. Anti-Doping Agency announced that Armstrong will not only lose his past victories from the Tour de France, but his privilege to participate in future tours has also been revoked, banning him from the sport of cycling for life.
Obviously, Armstrong has denied the allegations, claiming that the testing process is “one-sided and unfair.” A statement was later released responding to the USADA official, saying,
“There is zero physical evidence to support his outlandish and heinous claims.”
“The only physical evidence here is the hundreds of controls I have passed with flying colors, I made myself available around the clock and around the world. In-competition. Out of competition. Blood. Urine. Whatever they asked for I provided. What is the point of all this testing if, in the end, USADA will not stand by it?”
