Torso In Suitcase Found In Lake Ontario / Torso Also Found In Niagara Falls.

When I read the story, my initial instinct was “someone idolizes Luka“… What on earth is this world coming to?

11:21am Wednesday, September 5th, boaters on Lake Ontario saw a suitcase floating on the water and towed it back to shore. Toronto police Det. Les Dunkley has since confirmed that within the suitcase rested “a badly decomposed torso” – due to the condition of the remains, they are unable to determine the sex. The coroner who arrived on the scene shall conduct a post-motem examination later this morning.

Although not yet confirmed, police suspect the remains are connected to the recent case of Hua Guang Liu.

In August, the single mother of three was said to have gone missing, though later some of her body parts had been found in two parks in the Toronto area. Unfortunately, not all of her remains had been recovered, which therefore leads them to the assumption that yesterday’s finding may be related. Liu’s estranged boyfriend, Chun Qi Jiang, has since been charged with second-degree murder.

Det. Dunkley has confirmed, “We’ve been in touch with Peel Regional Police and until we get results for the post-mortem, we can’t determine if it’s one and the same.”

Reports had also been made on the 29th of August where a tourist riding the Maid of the Mist in Niagara Falls spotted a human torso from the boat and alerted police. As of the moment, the body remains unidentified, though police were capable of confirming that the torso belonged to a Caucasian female who had two Cesarean sections and a tubal ligation procedure.

May you both rest in peace.
