Sheryl Crow Diagnosed With Meningioma (Brain Tumor).

The famous “Soak Up The Sun” country singer, Sheryl Crow, has told the Las Vegas Review Journal that at 50-years-old, she has been diagnosed with meningioma*. In other words, a benign brain tumor.

“I worried about my memory so much that I went and got an MRI. And I found out I have a brain tumor … but it’s benign, so I don’t have to worry about it.”

Crow’s representative reassures fans that the breast cancer survivor (from 2006) is happy, healthy and doing great.

*Meningioma is a growth that develops from the protective linings of the brain and spinal cord, it is the most common type of brain tumors and most often does not show symptoms throughout a persons life. It also requires no treatment other than periodic observation, however, a small percentage could be dangerous, they are typically treated with either radiosurgery or conventional surgery.
